We have improved our eBoarding API experience including:
- Improvement for Third-Party Document Signing
- New Bundled Product Available in UK
- Poynt 61 Smart Terminal V3 Available in UK and Ireland
- Updated Merchant Agreement for UK and Poland
1. Improvement for Third-Party Document Signing
An improvement has been made for the generation of third-party documents, to minimise the efforts of adding attributes in partnerDocumentData.
Previously all fields in the partner XHTML templates have to be defined in the partnerDocumentData in PAPI payload. For example, the ownershipType exists in /createdocumentpacket payload, however partners must also include it in the partnerDocumentData in order to display the information in their documents.
With this improvement, fields that exist in /createdocumentpacket payload can now be used as references in the XHTML templates directly. Partners do not need to define them again in the partnerDocumentData. This supports all fields except arrays such as additionalShareholders, fees, cardCharges, and exceptionCharges in documentPacketData.
2. New Bundled Product Available in UK
A new Talech Register ELO bundle is now available for boarding via PAPI in UK. The bundle consists of four devices, including an ELO 4.0 device with Customer Facing Display, a Star mc3 printer, a Star cash drawer, and a Star POP1 barcode scanner.

4. Updated Merchant Agreement for UK and Poland
For UK and Poland PAPI users, when an application is submitted with a Simplified Pricing Program, information in the MSC Table will be shown in the Schedule of Fee for both Unsigned/Signed Merchant Agreement. Terms of Service (TOS) is not updated as a part of Merchant Agreement for UK jurisdiction.
If any of the exotic cards (JCB, Union Pay Debit/Union Pay Credit, DCI/Discover) are set to 0, the corresponding MSC Rate and per Transaction Fee of the card will be marked as N/A instead of displaying 0% in the Schedule of Fee for both Unsigned/Signed Merchant Agreement. This is to indicate that the card will not be activated for the merchant.
