1. Display Names of Third-Party Documents on eSign Page

Third-party documents were shown as “Partner Documents” on the eSign page previously, instead of showing the defined document names. An improvement has been made so that names of the documents uploaded by third party are now correctly displayed on the eSign page for easier referencing. The document name accepts a maximum of 128 characters including alphabets, numbers, and special characters.

2. Updated Terms of Service

For all EU PAPI users, when creating new application, an updated version of the Terms of Service (TOS) will now be generated. This change is to keep us compliant with legal requirements.

3. Updated Faster Payment Terms and Conditions in UK

The Faster Payment Terms and Conditions in Schedule of Fee (SOF) has been updated, and the batch amount is changed from £250,000 to £1,000,000. The new terms and conditions for Faster Payments Fee are:

  • Where applicable: Batch amount up to £1,000,000 – fee is £0.30;
  • Batch amount over £1,000,000 – fee is £3.00.

When UK PAPI users board an application, the updated terms and conditions for faster payments fee will be shown in SOF in both Unsigned/Signed Merchant Agreement.

4. Updated Terminal Hire Agreement for Talech ELO Bundle in UK

For UK PAPI users, when the application is submitted with Talech ELO Bundle selected, the hire period in the Terminal Hire Agreement is now changed from 24 months to 18 months. The signature in the Terminal Hire Agreement is also updated.

5. Talech ELO Bundle Now Available in Ireland

Talech ELO bundle is now also available for boarding via PAPI in Ireland. The bundle consists of four devices, including an ELO 4.0 device with Customer Facing Display, a Star mc3 printer, a Star cash drawer, and a Star POP1 barcode scanner.

6. Updated Merchant Agreement in UK and Ireland

For UK and Ireland PAPI users, the label MMSC in the Pricing Section for Fee table is now updated to Minimum Monthly Service Charge (MMSC).

In the Schedule of Fee for both Unsigned/Signed Merchant Agreement, the label MMSC in the Standard Charges and Other Charges tables is now correctly displayed as Minimum Monthly Service Charge (MMSC). The footnote is also updated, it now shows "Minimum Monthly Service Charge (MMSC) is payable if your total Merchant Service Charges for a given month is less than the minimum stated. The amount payable is the difference between MMSC and the total MSC paid in that given month."

7. Support PPRO as Local Payment Method in UK and Ireland

PPRO is now supported as a new Local Payment Method (LPM) for Interchange Monetary Pricing Program in UK and Ireland. Applications created via Partner API will be able to board with the new payment scheme.

Please note that Card Present LPMs (AliPay & WeChatPay) are now in pilot so any potential pilot customer should be run by and approved by Elavon before submitting the application.

AliPay and WeChatPay card present are available in pilot for Ingenico Terminals (Desk 5000, Move 5000, Move 3000 and Lane 3000) which need to be connected over IP/ Ethernet or Wifi (GPRS coming later).

Ecommerce LPMs are not available at the moment. They will be available via the Opayo gateway soon and a separate communication will be released for that from LPM Product Manager.

The new PPRO Local Payment Method can be used with both Tiered Pricing Program and Non-Tiered Pricing Program. Tiered Pricing Program allows different Merchant Service Charge (MSC) Rate and Per Transaction Fee being set based on the transaction means; while Non-Tiered Pricing Program allows only one set of MSC Rate and Per Transaction Fee being set.

8. Support BLIK as Local Payment Method in Poland

BLIK is now supported as a new Local Payment Method (LPM) for Interchange Monetary Pricing Program in Poland. Applications created via Partner API will be able to board with the new payment scheme.

Please note that Elavon’s BLIK solution is now in pilot so any potential pilot customer should be run by and approved by Elavon before submitting the application. Otherwise, partners should continue to use the existing process where Tpay BLIK should be set up if the customer requires BLIK.

The new BLIK Local Payment Method can be used with both Tiered Pricing Program and Non-Tiered Pricing Program. Tiered Pricing Program allows different Merchant Service Charge (MSC) Rate and Per Transaction Fee being set based on the transaction means; while Non-Tiered Pricing Program allows only one set of MSC Rate and Per Transaction Fee being set.
