You can use the API to check on the application’s progress Find out how to Check a Boarding Application Status on the Boarding page.
a. When COMPLETE
When the boarding application process is COMPLETE, you can welcome your customer(s).
b. If still INPROGRESS (EU) or PEND (NA)
If the application process is still INPROGRESS or PEND continue to use the API to periodically check the status.
The underwriting team may require additional merchant documents via the /uploadDocuments API.
c. If DECLINED or WITHDRAWN
If the application is DECLINED or WITHDRAWN, this will be confirmed with your customer by the Elavon Staff.
- DECLINED is when the application cannot be approved.
- WITHDRAWN is when you or the customer withdraws their application.
A record of the decision is retained to inform future applications made by the customer(s).
